Eligibility Criteria: 6 CGPA  and 60% Overall

Candidates should have either 60% or 6 CGPA (overall) at least to be eligible for the recruitment.

Branches eligible: All the branches of B.E/B.Tech are eligible.

CTC: 3.38 LPA

CTC might vary for different colleges according to the post of the candidate.

Cognizant Recruitment Process consists of three rounds. They are 

  1. Written test
  2. Technical interview
  3. HR interview

1.Written test: 


           AMCAT(Third party) conducts the written test. The table below is the pattern of the written     test in the Recruitment Process. First of all, you need to keep in mind that You cannot come back to question once answered and cannot move to the next question without answering the present question.

There will be a sectional cut off for every section So, Try to attempt all the sections without leaving any of them.

Quant:

Quant is the most time consuming section of all. So, try to attempt this section as fast as possible.

  • Time and work
  • Numbers
  • Simple interest  
  • Compound interest
  • Profit and Loss
  • True Discount
  • Average
  • Decimal Fractions
  • Square roots and Cube roots

Logical:

This sections becomes easier if you just put in some basic knowledge.  Thinking logically helps you solve this section without any difficulty.

  • Analogies
  • Verbal Clarification
  • Statement and Assumption
  • Letter and Symbol series
  • Number Series 
  • Statement and Conclusion
  • Matching Definitions

Verbal:

Verbal is the easier of all the sections consisting of pretty simple questions. However, you must be having knowledge about basic English grammar. This section contains,

  • Synonyms
  • Antonyms
  • Reading Comprehension
  • Correction of sentences 
  • Fill in the blanks with suitable meaning.

»The Company tests your speed and management of time in this round.


Technical interview:


They will ask your favourite Core Subject and as a result  ask questions in that subject. Therefore be sure to say one of the subjects in which you have sound knowledge. Furthermore, Sound knowledge of your projects is also necessary. Do not mention anything in the Resume which you are not aware of, because most of the questions are based on the Resume only.

HR Interview:
