Hence the CTC is said 5.5 LPA,This is the package that they are offering to the selected candidates in the NCR recruitment process. This may vary from different colleges and from one NCR placement drive to other. It may increase or decrease according to the post they are offering.

Are you really good at coding? Are you adding more value to the company than they expect? Did you just mess up your previous interviews because of bad days? NCR is a place where you can offer and it gets PAID.

The NCR placement process consists of four rounds

1)Written test

2)Technical interview

3)Managerial interview

4)HR interview

1) NCR Written test pattern :

The written test is conducted by  Cocubes a third party(All the MNC’S( multinational companies )  Mostly will give the contracts to conduct the written test on their behalf, those companies are called third parties.) vendor. Pattern for written test is given in the Table as follows:

Round  Number of questions Duration per section
Quant 10 15 min
Logical 10 15 min
Verbal 10  15 min
Technical (objective) 20 15 min
Coding 2 30 min

*Numerical Ability

*Logical Reasoning

*Sentence Equivalence and Verbal Reasoning.

*General Knowledge section was seldom included, if required by the company.

The questions seemed to prioritize agility to intellect. The difficulty of the questions was quite easy, relative to other competitive aptitude tests conducted directly by few other companies.

Rigorous practice leading to increase your problem solving speed and accuracy may be enough to be highly successful in CoCubes tests. Hence the written test is conducted by the cocubes the above given are very important topics in cocubes.

Aptitude and Verbal:

The questions seemed to prioritize agility with accuracy belying the popular belief that more attempts improve your chances. Don’t simply rush forward for more attempts. Do you think you can solve only a few questions? It’s okay, mark them RIGHT!

The difficulty of the questions was not so easy as in AMCAT  but varied from easy- moderate to difficult.  Rigorous practice leading to increase in your problem solving speed and accuracy may be enough to be highly successful in CoCubes tests.

Technical Test:

This constituted questions  majorly from C++ with some emphasis on C, Sql and a bit of Data structures.

For CSE students, brushing up your basics will make this a cakewalk.

For others, be thorough with you C++. The seniors who didnot belong to CSE have mentioned that answering all the questions related to C++ and C did the trick. If you want to prepare for more, google ‘most important objective questions of Sql or DS and go through them.

Coding round:

This round had 2 questions and one had to code in any language he is comfortable with. No editors were provided. So, one rarely focused on the syntax errors. It was all about writing the logic correctly with minimal syntax errors. But don’t be under an impression that you have all the time in the world.

You have only 30 minutes. 30 minutes for 2 questions gives you an impression that you have a lot of time but you don’t. Time runs quickly. Make sure you write some logic for both the question- right or wrong- before time runs away.

2) NCR Technical interview :

Mostly based on resume. Programming skills are more focused, in depth knowledge of programming languages like the OOPS concepts, C.

For CSE and IT students,

  1. Preparation of Java and other concepts.
  2. Concepts of software engineering and software testing.
  3. Concepts of web programming.

For ECE and EEE students, prepare a bit of PDSC(importantly logic gates) and a bit about microprocessors and controllers.

By the way, What is an interview if not vomiting all the skills you have? 😛

3) Managerial interview:

This round is only to check that candidate having management skills or not. But sometimes, depending on the person interviewing it might turn out to be one more of a technical interview. So be aware and prepared for this round.

So the following Skills tested are mostly:

  • Leadership skills
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Motivational personality
  • Results-driven

4) HR Interview :

Before we start, remember that, in a HR interview, there is no right or wrong answer. May it a NCR placement drive or any drive you need to be confident. All you have is a right way of answering, but the answer in itself depends on the candidate.

So Frequently asked questions in NCR HR interview are:

  • Tell me about yourself
  • Why should we hire you
  • your strengths and weaknesses
  • how to handle challenging situation
  • your hobbies and interests
  • inspiring person in your life
  • change management, flexibility
  • Why do you want to work for us
  • About the company
  • Expectations from your first job etc.

So Speak convincingly and confidently. Be honest

N.B:  So You are as important for the job as the job is important for you. Don’t devalue yourself.
